Caution: Tungsten Carbide is a far more effective trimming tool that can maintain its sharp cutting edge much longer, and it's composed of a very hard, dense material (ranking about 9 on Mohs scale). Unlike steel, which can become dull over time, it is inflexible and somewhat brittle and care must be taken not to try and bend the tool, bump it against hard surfaces or objects, drop it, or allow it to move loosely around in a tool box when traveling. For this reason we provide a bespoke, purpose-made toolbox with each tool in order to protect the tool heads properly.
